Can it fly - a project about kites and dragons

In Denmark the word for dragon and kite are the same - the danish word "drager". So “drager” is both a GameOfThrones/Harry Potter kind of dragon who can spit fire and be good or evil or a kite you can fly with in windy weather. The common thing for both of them are that they originate from China. The thoughts behind “Can it fly – a project about dragons and kites” is to make a project that include both things – both the magical kind of dragon and the one you fly with at the end of a string. We want to make a project where pupils/students can participate regardless of age and abilities. The three founders of this project works in a Kindergarden, a school for children with special needs and a primary school. Our idea is that this project can include subject such as math (perhaps coding), history, art. We hope to have a lot of participating teachers/pupils from all over Europe, so we can see how pupils/students for different countries will dream up their own magical dragon or kite.
