The project is about being an active citizen in a democracy. This also includes mediocracy. Right now there are big problems with disinformation in the European Union and with the development of Artificial Intelligence the challenge is even bigger. We want our students to see disinformation as a shared problem for democracy and a threat to our core values. We want to compare the different topics, find similiarities and differences of disinformation in our countries. Our students should work together in designing a guidance to identify fake news and underline their threat for democracy and social engagement. This could be a step forward to be well informed and active citizens in a democracy.
