
ICT FOR TEACHERS 5 DAYS
This course is aimed at teachers and all those who want to improve their digital competences and learn how they can use ICT to prepare didactic materials or engage their learners in more interactive learning. It will focus on theoretical background and practical use of digital online tools as well as the opportunities for creating teaching and learning resources through different media production.
Description
The course consists of 25 didactic hours and includes the following modules:
- Introduction of participants, outline of the programme, warm ups and ice breakers
- Brainstorming and voting online (Tricider)
- Sourcing data from a computational knowledge engine (Wolfram Alpha)
- Making information visually appealing through infographics (Piktochart)
- Overview of the banks of freely reusable resources for educational use
- Animated infographics (Renderforest)
- Online tools for collaboration in ICT projects, eTwinning, School Education Gateway
- Individual support
- Presentation of outcomes, discussion, evaluation and closing session
- Teambuilding and networking activities
- City tour or a cultural trip
Learning objectives
- Improving the participants’ digital competences.
- Developing communication, collaboration, presentation, problem solving, negotiation, critical and creative thinking skills.
- Enhancing understanding of the potential ICT have in education and opportunities they provide.
- Enhancing professional skills through mastering tools for virtual communication and collaboration, design and publishing.
- Providing and exercising creative ideas and practical resources for successful implementation of ICT in education.
- Improving English fluency (official language of the course).
- Promoting intercultural awareness.
- Sharing experiences use of ICT from different organizations in order to help each of us to be more effective in our work.
- Developing the online collaboration platform for preparation, dissemination and networking in order to develop future partnerships and projects.
Methodology & assessment
Materials, digital tools & other learning resources
All the materials will be made available to the participants in digital form upon completion of the course.
Certification details
Certificate includes the topic, dates and location of the course. We can list the record of learning outcomes on the Europass Mobility Document on request of participants.

Course package content:
The course fee includes tution and materials for the course. Accommodation, meals and transportation are not included and participants are expected to organize and cover for these expences by themselves. We do not charge anything extra apart from the 400 EUR course fee.

Cancellation & changes:
Free cancellation up to 30 days before the start. After that, the reservation is not refundable. Changes in name and profile of the participant are possible any time before the start of the course. In case of extraordinary circumstances we will offer a free re-schedualing to be used within 6 months.
