'Countdown to the Tokyo Olympics 2020' will be a project which encourages collaboration between students and their teachers, developing creative language and ICT skills. The project will be based on monthly activities from September 2019 to May 2020 including introducing school and country, explaining democratic participation, understanding the Olympic values, finding out about the Ancient and Modern Olympics , learning about Japan, creating an Olympic Anthem with music, singing and sign language, taking part in some e-sports between project schools and celebrating with an online medal ceremony! An initial expression of interest on the eTwinning Facebook Group attracted over 70 likes and at least 30 confirmations representing 15 countries. As such, this is a large project! :)
