The Olympics are a fascinating sports event with participants from all over the world. Almost everybody knows the term “Olympic Spirit” and the famous sentence “The important thing is not to win, but to take part”. The goal is not to fight against each other but together as a team and create a ranking between schools. Every school can create 2 or 3 games/competitions and explain them on padlet etc. These games could be specific for the country and don't have to be based on the original olympic disciplines. The planned duration of the Schoolympics are 1 to 3 months. It's up to you to do the Schoolympics in one day or during a longer period in your lessons.
