Tangram, whose history dates back to ancient times, is an educational tool and intelligence game. Tangram can be called a kind of puzzle. Tangram consists of 7 geometric parts. The pieces consist of 1 parallelogram, 1 square and 5 triangles of different sizes. The purpose of tangram is to create shapes of different forms by using these pieces. Tangram is very important for the development of visual skills and attention. Develops problem solving skills. It also has positive effects on intelligence. It also contributes to the development of focus and concentration. It is a fun material suitable for anyone aged 5 and up. In our project, our students will improve their spatial skills with tangram. They will communicate with their peers. They will realize the awareness of being a world citizen with tangram. Our students will also create artistic shapes from the tangram. Diversity will be provided in educational activities. Social and artistic awareness of our students will increase. Peer relations and hand skills will develop and they will get to know different cultures. The project will contribute to students' psychomotor, social-emotional-artistic, mathematical and cognitive development.
