ARCH is a project that investigates the value of social inclusion focusing on the importance of architecture and urban planning to promote it and the implementation of innovative solutions to achieve a more balanced and inclusive society. We want to develop new teaching methodologies, using a cross-curricular and entrepreneurial approach to prepare students teachers and other stakeholders for life in an increasingly globalised labor market. Using historical and current local perspectives of each society students from different cultural backgrounds investigate the value of architecture and urban planning to promote social inclusion regarding intra and international migration. During 6 student exchanges, participants work in transnational groups to develop their communication, cooperation and planning skills, to present and discuss what they have researched. As a result of participating in this project students will have an increased social awareness and will be more active citizens.
