Zero waste!
This is a project that aims to raise awareness about global warming and climate change: one of the most important problems of the 21st century. Human behaviors are one of the root causes. Zero waste is one of the most effective strategies to create a more sustainable environment. Avoiding littering of packaging, products and used items (including clothing) helps to minimize landfill, conserve natural resources and prevent unnecessary pollution in the local area. Enriched by its European dimension, it will enable students to discover that consumption leads to the depletion of subway resources and an increase in the amount of waste and carbon footprint released into the atmosphere. Although it is eminently scientific, at the same time, it will enhance communicative competence, learning to learn and personal initiative. The knowledge and interaction of international students will also enhance understanding and respect for other cultures.
