How to Implement the Climate Curriculum in Your School
Our course is an Erasmus+K1 Teacher Training Course program to support the continuous professional development of teachers on how to implement climate change teaching in schools.
It involves sharing good practices and methods and techniques obtained based on the activities and methods developed within the scope of the European Union Erasmus+ program KA201 project.

Description
Our course is an Erasmus+K1 Teacher Training Course program to support the continuous professional development of teachers on how to implement climate change teaching in schools.
It involves sharing good practices and methods and techniques obtained based on the activities and methods developed within the scope of the European Union Erasmus+ program KA201 project.
This multidisciplinary course is aimed at primary school, kindergarten and secondary school teachers (target: students aged 7-14) and offers turnkey sessions based on investigative approaches to help students understand climate change and soil functioning through theoretical and applied teaching methods.
Our course content also includes case studies and methods on how you can teach climate change issues in line with your current curriculum in your school, and sample lesson practices obtained from the studies carried out during the project will also be shared with the participants.
In our Course Activity, school visits will be carried out to include good and exemplary practices.
Participants of our course program, which will be held in Antalya, Turkey, the pearl of the Mediterranean and Europe's favorite tourism and cultural center, will have the opportunity to discover history, nature and cultural heritage.
Accommodation will be in 5-star hotels in our region.

By the end of the course, you‘ll be able to...
Describe what climate change and what it is not and improve your subject knowledge of how space technology is used in climate science.
Identify misconceptions within your class and approaches to teaching the science of climate change.
Produce a plan to support students to undertake a climate change investigation.
Apply the techniques used by scientists to collect and analyse data on climate change within the classroom.
Evaluate the use of climate change and related careers as a context to teach science across the curriculum.

Certification details
