Description

In this webinar, Simone explored the role of AI in education and showed how AI tools can be used to enhance student engagement through personalised learning experiences, discussions, intercultural understanding and eTwinning. She shared examples of effective prompting and hands-on activities to create education activities for eTwinning projects.

About the speakers

Simone Pfliegel

Simone Pfliegel’s previous role as a teacher of English, German, Philosophy and Ethics in Germany between 2004 to 2018 introduced her to eTwinning and Erasmus+, and made her become an eTwinning and Erasmus+ ambassador for Bavaria/Germany. She has facilitated further training in German as a foreign language, STEM and Ecology as well as Mindfulness in school for the German NA, the PAD, in Bonn and has transitioned into the role of the coordinator of the PASCH Schools Northwest Europe at the Goethe-Institut London in September 2018, where she runs (Erasmus+) projects in VR and AR for language development. In addition, Simone Pfliegel is involved as a design thinking multiplier, author of an eTwinning kit for the subject of ethics and a volume on the best AI tools for German lessons for Auer-Verlag (publication in early summer 2024).
