Learning material

The learning material consists of presentations and support material in English language.  

Cultural activities (optional)

Includes:
  1. a walking tour of Piraeus and welcome dinner,
Indicative menu: Cretan salad, zucchini fritters, sausage, cretan grilled cheese, cretan meat balls, pork slow roasted in the oven with sauce and herbs, served with mashed potatoes flavoured with mushroom truffle, traditional cretan pasta,  dessert, wine / rakiPRICE per person: 25 euros (beer or other drinks are not covered, except those mentioned above)
  1. a guided tour of Athens, visit to Archaeological sites,
It includes: The Acropolis hill, Parthenon, the historical  area of Plaka & Monastiraki: 3 hours guided tour COST: 150€ divided to the number of participants. No transport costs or entrance ticket to Acropolis Hill are included.
  1. a common dinner in Athens,

Learning objectives

Upon completion of the training course, the participant is expected to:

  • Develop the ability to assess and evaluate the impact of game-based learning, ensuring continuous improvement and success in their educational process. 
  • Use drama techniques and role playing for educational purposes. 
  • Learn the various types & benefits of digital learning games and be trained on the most important of them. 
  • Learn the various types & benefits of XR games and be trained on the most important of them. 
  • Conseptualise, design and produce educational games

An interesting blend of theoretical presentations and practical exercises, the course uses a hands-on mostly methodology enhancing participation, creativity, fun, team building and learning through doing. Tailored for educators seeking innovative tools to enrich their daily pedagogical practices.
