The phenomena of bullying, harassment and discrimination is still a serious problem of many schools. More and more schools are thinking about preventative measures they can take and most are aware of the value of involving the pupils/students in this process. Our work to prevent bullying must never be reduced to “an annual theme week”, but rather become an integrated part of our daily work. Proper knowledge and experience will be required to achieve this aim. The problem is seldom unwilling staff, but rather a lack of resource in terms of time and money. Apart from this, it’s also important for local municipality and private agencies to support the school leaders in this issue. All the project partner schools are interested in allocating their time and resources in order to tackle and reduce violence and bullying. We want to share practices, experiences and analyse the similarities and differences of our prevention plans.
