Science cooking

1. This project is about cooking and baking with a scientific explanation. School knowledge and skills in chemistry will be transferred to real life. Students will be improve manual skills in cooking also. 2. In groups, the students will create a recipe and send them to the students from the other school. 3. Each group will then cook the recipe that was sent to them and make a video. 4. The video should show each step of the recipe and include an explanation of the scientific element of this recipe (baking soda for example). 5. Students must understand why bubbles arise in the dough , when baking. They compare baking powder versus yeast. 6. And finally they will send the video to the creators of the recipe. 7. Collecting all the results and materials to present them in a final product (eg an emagazine).
