European cultural heritage-Learning from the past, sharing the present and building a diverse future

Our cultural heritage surrounds us: buildings and arquitecture in towns and cities, landscapes, archaeological sites, arts, monuments, oral and written stories, music. In this project we want both to learn more about our own country’s cultural heritage and we are curious about different aspects of the heritage and people from other cultures, especially in Ireland and Spain, our partner schools in this project. In our schools, many students have no opportunity to go out of the places where they live and meet new people and cultures. So, in our project European cultural heritage-Learning from the past, sharing the present and building a diverse future students will have the chance to visit people in different countries and to get to know new people and make new friendships. While getting involved in many types of activity, the students will also have the opportunity of improving their English language skills through cooperation and collaboration with students and teachers of different nationalities. As we start this Erasmus+ group mobility activity, we intend to complement it with this eTwinning project. The communication tools and collaborative space that eTwinning offers are necessary to plan and discuss aspects of the project activities, as well as to share information on each country, show results and to support the contact between partners beyond the visits on-site.
