Why trees? There are no plants on Earth more magnificent, more important for nature and for man, than trees. Like shrubs and herbs, even the largest trees begin their lives as small seedlings, of which only a fraction have a chance to survive. As they grow, however, they gain an advantage over other plants. Understanding these remarkable organisms and their functions is the best way to befriend, protect and care for their well-being. The project aims to establish and strengthen the relationship between man and trees. Trees are such amazing natural wonders with so many benefits to people and animals. They provide oxygen, shelter, and fun places to play. During the project kids will actively be learning about science and nature at the same time. Not only will kids have fun hunting for different types of trees, they will also learn tree leaf identification skills that will stick with them for life.
