The project derives from a problem that is internationally seen as one of the most acute problems of contemporary society. It is represented by behaviors that pollute beyond natural regeneration systems. Through our project we can not stop or influence the industrial pollutants, but on a long term we can do more: we can change people’s attitudes and especially the children’s attitudes towards the protection of the environment. Through raising awareness actions, information and sensitizing the children upon the need of a clean environment, by promoting protective attitudes and by using adequate didactic strategies we can succeed what laws often can’t: to involve the community in solving environmental problems, to start an offensive against the garbage we pass and see every day on the streets, on vacant lots and near our homes.
