Literacies at the service of integration and citizenship: échanges de bonnes pratiques

Within an Erasmus KA229 project, we aim to develop strong reading habits and strengthen the students' understanding the life around them through reading. We want to reach higher basic skills in reading, in this case, the reading ability in literacy. It's about the development of solutions and methods through an experience of knowledge in other countries. In the long time basis, they will improve their individual development and competence and strengthen their ability, skills and qualifications. For students for all schools partners it is important to learn that reading books is a bridge to understand different cultures. Reading is a fundamental tool for the individual in this knowledge and information society of the 21st century. It allows to discern, select and have critical capacity on knowledge and information (i.e. avoiding fake news). Reading implies being able to use various reading media (digital) and in new formats (e-books). Reading skills are decisive in human development.
