World Environment Day is the United Nations’ principal vehicle for encouraging worldwide awareness and action for the environment. It is an annual event on 5th June that is aimed at being the biggest and most widely celebrated global day for positive environmental action. The project “One Only Earth” aims to spread awareness about our environment and the differences and similarities of the environment in the European countries in the project. The project aims to encourage our students to share our dreams for a healthier and more sustainable planet. The students share their ideas of protecting the environment and raise awareness of this global issue. It also aims to spread awareness of conservation of the environment and to inspire our students to take action and do something to help the Earth; it starts with an individual action that leads to collective power.
