The project will focus on traditional custom songs and research their role in local societies through time. Students will become acquainted with our intangible heritage, traditional custom songs, many of which have been passed into the next generations orally and have been used in order to celebrate, commemorate and/or honour. The project members will look into the ways songs were carried out and were used in the community in the circular continuum of time.
