Short description
How do you talk to yourself? What tips do your students have for other student to help with their »problems«, such as anxiety, stress before a test, what do they do to focus better in class, how do they calm themslves down right before and exam or at night before to get better sleep, how do they warm up their brain to better perform in different school subject? Do they do math mental calculations as a competition at the beginnig of class(es)? Do they listen to or sing a song that lifts their mood before they go to school or to find motivation to study or do exercises? Do they take photographs and thus search for beauty in nature/life when they are feelling down? Beautiful photography can contribute to improving your mood. What are your tips for better mental health and better perfomance in the classroom (and life)? Make (tik tok) video tips (advice) and upload them to our TwinSpace. Send us your photos of the beauty you find in your environment.

 

Aims

Through this project, students will work together and will raise selfawareness among participants about strategies/activities that help their mental health which influence how they perform in school and life
- developing foreign language skills
- developing ICT skills
- raising intercultural awareness

 

 

Work process

November 

Founders gather all partners and organize a video meeting; teachers agree on further activities and add this project to their curriculum; teachers add students to twinspace, making it possible for students to meet virtually and write or record something to present themselves; Internet safety rules are presented to partners and students; teachers gather parental consent for students' participation in the project.

1st Coordination and registration of the project and send a google doc to every partner. Open TwinSpace. (Simona)
2nd. Copywrite and  netetiquette? Jose Luis
3rd. Participant schools' introduction on TwinSpace  (Padlet set up- Jose Luis) 
4th. Locate our partner schools on a map 

 

December 

5th Holiday postcards and wishes.

 

January 

6th Project LOGO championship. 
Pupils upload logos to twinspace and vote for the best logo (Josip -google forms)
7th  Film (tik tok) video tips. 
Add links to tutorials on how to edit a (tik tok) video (Josip, Jose, Simona) for students.

 

February 

8th:. Edit the videos.

 

March 

9th Article on the influence of photography on mental health.  (Josip) 
10th Students learn about the compostion of the photos (art class, mathclass) or research on line. 
11th Project Photography. 
12h: FINAL PRODUCTS:  Public TwinSpace with (tik tok) videos  and photos in an e-book (Book Creator- Josip)

 

 

April 

13th Project evaluation and diffussion (google form questionnaires – Jose) 

 

Frequency of coworking: Leading members of each team meet once a month (or more if neccessary). 
Involving pupils: in class meetings with pupils, Twinspace forum, chat, international and national group work

 

Expected results

Digital e-book, public TwinSpace, raised awarness about mental health
