Happ-e-Travellers

In this project we will create a travel agency and plan trips around European countries. Using a PBL approach, we will investigate different cultural, archeological and natural attractions by trying to answer the question "How can we create an unforgettable, culturally embracing travel experience?". Students will plan the trips, choose the transportation, accommodation, tourist attractions and they will estimate the cost. By creating their travel agency, students will experience entrepreneurship while learning about different countries, cultures and traditions. The students will improve their use of English language and ICT skills. They will get to know other cultures, traditions and customs and increase cultural awareness. By presenting their trips to their customers they will improve their presentation skills and self-confidence. The students will collaborate on both national and international teams, tutored by the teachers. The students' works and conclusions will be compiled in a digital final product (ebook).

January tasks

Dear partners, here is a reminder of the January tasks:

  1. Creating and voting for our project logo!
At our online meeting we agreed that each school will suggest 2 logo proposals and we will have an open poll (open to our school communities) to select our project logo.
So, there is a twinboard to page 8 Logo contest. Each school can upload their best 2 logos on that twinboard. When we have all the (10) logos we will proceed with the voting. This should be finished by the end of January!
  2. Selecting the travel destinations that we are going to plan the trips for.
There is a google form on page 10 Travel destinations. Each student should select/propose 5 destinations. When all the students answer the google form, we will conclude on the travel destinations and distribute the students in the international teams.

Keep up the good work!
