The students of the project will get familiar with the integration process of refugees in different parts of Europe: Finland, Spain, Denmark and Italy. The students study together, interculturally, how refugees face their new situation, how they adapt and how the community can help them with acculturation process and practical problems concerning learning to live in the new environment. The students will find out how the public services work in this process, e.g. how a refugee can find education, an apartment and medical service. They will identify being a refugee in European context. The project also has a cultural dimension; the students get acquainted with cultural heritage of each country and consider the cultural views also as part of acculturation process of refugees. The students will share the studies using Twinspace tools; presentation links, chat and discussions. We will also create a mobile app that refugees can use in learning to live in a new environment.
