An effective combination of training formats (e.g. practical workshops, seminars, group discussion, task-based learning, collaborative planning, field learning projects ‘Contexts4Content’…) will allow exploration of Cooperative Learning techniques and theory as well as the culture and reality of the host country. Participants will form part of a learning opportunity that mirrors a practical, effective, and authentic experience after which they will have a clear insight into the potential benefits that key elements of Cooperative Learning, such as positive interdependence, individual accountability, face-to-face interaction, social skills, and group processing, have on the teaching-learning process. Participants will create a framework for planning meaningful lessons and developing teaching materials relevant to their students’ interests.
Assessment: analysis of participants’ interests, oral and written reports during and after the course.
