"The travels of Jastuś and Moomin". WE LEARN ABOUT THE COUNTRIES WHERE WE LIVE IN.

The mascot of the city Jastrzębie-Zdrój – a little hawk which is called "Jastuś" and Moomin - a character from a Finnish fairy tale, will take children on an exciting journey to show their peers their country, and at the same time get to know the partner country. This will be possible by sending the mascots on a journey: the Polish Jastuś will "wander" through Finland together with children from the partner institution, and Moomin will "visit" Poland under the supervision of students from Jastrzębie-Zdrój. As part of the project, we will exchange information about the partner countries (national symbols, basic phrases in the native language, cities where we live, tourist attractions, holiday traditions, traditional Polish and Finnish dishes, music). Students will make new friends, get to know their schools, classes, cities, interests. Online meetings will help eliminate the language barrier and allow children to gain self-confidence.
