Third day - Wednesday 15.04
Wednesday is dancing day!
To start the day we did an activity integrated in our Terrassa mates Sports curriculum... dancing! Our dance teacher was the airy and energetic Iñaki Uriz, Aimerigues school Sports teacher... FUN!
After an hour and a half of hard dancing, time for professionals!
They showed us what it all was really about! WOOOOOW!
The day did not stop here, of course. After a brief break and some frugal food,
we took the train and went to Barcelona.
First contact with the city. We walked through the city center to our first destination: Poble Nou "superblock" tour.
In our way to the superblock we stopped in "l'Arc del Triomf" and took a photo!
A really interesting an provocative tour through the history and changes (greeing, sustainability, less cars, pedestrian areas... but also gentrification!) happening in Barcelona's urbanism. We had the tour in the Poble Nou's neighbourhood, close to the Design Musem of Barcelona.
We splited into two groups to be able to follow the activity properly. One group hanged around the Museum and visited it, while the other group did it. And viceversa.
The day did not stop here! After the two groups finished the tour we moved to make a visit to a highlight spot in Barcelona, La Sagrada Família.
Oh, yeah! An active... and sustainable day, indeed!
We took the train (public transport) from Terrassa to Barcelona and then we walked and walked and walked... and had lots of fun and lived the city! No cars needed!
Evidence of it all? Of course!
