AMASYA SOCIAL SCIENCES HIGH SCHOOL

Amasya Social Sciences High School is a secondary school with a four-year education. Maths, Turkish Literature, History, English, and Geography are compulsory courses. There is a wide range of elective courses as well. The graduates become lawyers, teachers, accountants, psychologists, governors, and other professionals. 

There is a boarding section for the students who come from far away. It. is inside the schoolyard. Most of the students have their lunch in its restaurant. There are both girls and boys staying. 

Our school is a really active one and quite social. Each day, there is an activity planned. If there is a school drama one day, there is a song contest the other day. The students sometimes visit a local office as well as carry out project tasks in several fields.

Last year, the school was awarded the eTwinning school label and the teachers received some Quality Labels. This year, we are going to start an Erasmus+ KA210 project with a German and Greek school.
