Our project aims to improve our students' communicative skills in English to enable them to have better future opportunities. It's also about improving their cultural awareness, as our students have little opportunity to travel the world. The Orléans-Tours education authority has set up an approved Erasmus+ project that enables us to offer mobility opportunities for teachers and students. English is an essential part of our departmental project. We set up the CLIL schools, and today nine of them are part of this scheme. Several teachers and educational advisers have benefited from language exchanges. Today, we would like to continue with exchanges of practice between teachers from CLIL schools across Europe, in order to improve our teaching practices. Ideally, we'd like to give our pupils the benefit of practical exchanges with other European pupils, and thus giving a real meaning to learning English. In addition, we would like to create eTwinning projects with pupils from schools that are prepared to welcome and visit us. In this way, we will certainly have an integrated two-way collaborative school project. Our 9 primary schools are located in the Loir et Cher department, in both urban and rural areas. We would like to find one or more schools willing to accept the mobility of an English teacher in our schools and the mobility of a teacher in his or her school in order to learn about good practice in teaching English in CLIL.
