Kamishibaï (紙芝居 in Japanese) means "Paper Theater". It is a storytelling technique that first appeared in Japan, which was first used by street storytellers to tell children various stories by moving illustrated boards on a wooden frame, called a butaï.

At least four languages ​​are involved in the multilingual Kamishibaï, which are integrated into the narrative and/or illustration. This multilingual writing gives students the opportunity to discover the linguistic and cultural diversity that exists in their school and social environment.

The theme of this year's competition: "Alone you go faster, together we go further!"

For the dissemination of our etwinning project "Citizens of Europe - Messengers of culture" we participated in the competition with the collaborative story with the special title "The best gift". It was supervised by the 1st Kindergarten of N. Raidestos and the 3rd Kindergarten of Sykeon with the help of drawings and sounds from all 12 schools of the project (Greece, Italy, Belgium, Bulgaria). The story is based on the trip to Europe that the children make through the project!
