This project, stemming from the Asia-European Foundation(ASEF) ClassNet17 school collaboration online capacity-building course, introduces an innovative AIED teaching and learning scenario to be implemented in our schools from September 2024 to March 2025. It aims to deepen students' understanding and critical evaluation of AI tools in education. Students will engage in discussions and brainstorming sessions on AI, followed by a needs analysis using questionnaires to assess AI tool usage and its effects. We will design and implement lesson plans across subjects to explore the benefits and challenges of AI tools. The project will culminate in the collaborative creation of ethical guidelines for AI use in education. European and Asian students will interact throughout the project, sharing perspectives, presenting findings, and discussing ethical challenges, thereby fostering intercultural communication and collaboration.
