This project aims to help students understand that the Global Goals affect our daily lives and everyone has the potential to be a Goalkeeper and take action. By understanding that everyone needs to be involved in the achievement of the Goals, students will identify and appreciate the different skills of all individuals, as well as themselves. While working on the project activities, students will also understand the importance of working together to achieve the Goals for a better world. This project links to the concept of Global Competence as described in the 2018 OECD Pisa Assessment framework: “the capacity to examine local, global and intercultural issues, to understand and appreciate the perspectives and world views of others, to engage in open, appropriate and effective interactions with people from different cultures, and to act for collective wellbeing and sustainable development."
