The project will apply the CLIL methodology to teach elementary Astronomy and Mythology in English to lower secondary students, with a linguistic level that ranges from A1+ to B1. Emphasis will be given on a) developing original and innovative teaching material and methodologies, b) challenging teachers and students to deal with the foreign language (English) as a whole and use it to deal with the demands of the content, in terms of vocabulary and linguistic patterns, c) getting involved with different text genres and working on making meaning out of them to meet the content, d) dealing with the foreign language as a tool to convey social meaning.
