To celebrate European Day on the 9t of May we are hoping to link with as many countries as possible across Europe. For the project we will be sending 1 homemade and 1 tradition postcard from our Country (Ireland) to our twin countries and hopefully receive postcards also. For European Day we will display all our postcards on a large European map made by our pupils. In conjunction with this our group will also be putting together a “Eurovision” style performance. Performances must be a tradition song from your country and in Eurovision tradition you should jazz it up a little. Performances will be video recorded and uploaded to our twinspace by the 9th of May (European Day). Performances will be graded by the other countries in Eurovision fashion ( 12 points, 10 points 8 ect). You cannot vote for your own country. At the end we will have an E-twinning Eurovision Winner representing their country. Multiple entries from the same country but different groups can be entered. Students can get involved in the production, costume design, choreograph routines ect. It should be a fun activity to celebrate us all being European together. Songs/performances have to be native to their country and can be in English or their own language.
