Students learn about the past times of their city/region, they can get the knowledge about symbols of the city, people, history, geography, natural conditions, prominent figures of city, legend, national memorials, folklore, cultural offers, something about the holidays, traditions, art and local resources, church and so on... They also create their own ideas of region development of future. At the end of the project students make products (maps, guides, booklets), a PPT presentation and exchange them with the other schools. Children make friends, promote their countries and challenge stereotypes. The partnership is also aimed to build cultural awareness and tolerance towards other countries. Teachers can exchange their pedagogical experience, how to develop one topic for some school subject.
