Bridging Conservation: Exploring the UNESCO World Nature Heritage sites we live in

Our interdisciplinary project, unites students from Cuxhaven, Germany, and Taormina, Sicily, Italy, to explore the UNESCO World Nature Heritage Sites Etna and Wadden Sea. We'll investigate the harmony between preservation and usage, combining English and Biology with other subjects. Our focus includes understanding the significance of these sites, examining their ecosystems, and discussing human impacts like tourism and local regulations. We'll address conflicts and engage in international challenges as well as learn about scientific research. Erasmus+ accreditation enables physical exchanges, while eTwinning will facilitate communication. We aim to submit our findings to environmental competitions, promoting global awareness and responsibility.
