The project idea arises from the good practice launched by the European Commission, and promoted by Epale and Indire: "establishing a network of positive reference figures - ROLE MODEL - that can, through the telling of their stories - Stories of Resilience - inspire those who live in difficult contexts by activating processes of trust in the possibility of drawing positive effects from negative situations" (Supporting the prevention of radicalization leading to violent extremism - EC Communication of 14 June 2016). The partner Schools, through the practice of storytelling as a method of collecting European resilience stories, aim at promoting social inclusion and encouraging active citizenship in order to prevent social exclusion and inspire students, motivating them to learn and increase their confidence in the future, especially with regard to those living in particular conditions of economic, social and cultural disadvantage.
