IES Tacoronte - Óscar Domínguez has applied for this project because we have considered the following challenges in our educational centre : to make progress in a model that guarantees equity and equality; to promote a teaching plan to cater for diversity from an inclusive perspective according to educational psychology ; to keep and increase quality education, reducing absenteeism and school dropouts; to improve social harmony and create a positive school atmosphere, enriching a secure environment and achievement of a culture of peace, fostering the improvement of interpersonal relationships, participation, cooperation, equality and inclusion as well as the knowledge of one’s emotions; to promote continuous teacher training, connected to the educational project of the school, in addition to the development of key competences and an active learning methodology that can contribute to reduce the technology gap and limit its consequences.
