Geographers-researchers Mrs. Anush Hambardzumyan and Mr. Tigran Yengibaryan unexpectedly decided to unite their professional forces, to expand and strengthen the cooperation of the geographical professional community by implementing joint ideas. In 2019, the first practical steps of the big program began to be developed and implemented. The consolidation of the professional community began both in the capital Yerevan, as well as in the border settlements of the regions, Artsakh and the Armenian Diaspora. The large number of geographers who were rapidly involved in the idea eventually turned it into a scientific-research movement, which was called, in fact, the "Scientific-research movement of Geographers". The movement is unprecedented in terms of the involvement of Armenian geography teachers.
