Kites are awesome for learning! They're not just fun, they're also great for studying a variety of subjects. You can learn about colors, history, how things fly, and even math. It's like mixing art and science together! Plus, you can learn about teamwork and creativity when you make and fly kites. In this e-Twinning Project we will make our students explore the science in the beautiful soar of those colorful kites. We will give them a chance of expressing their feelings, creating their own kites, identifying their cultural elements and lastly but most importantly, sharing common things with their peers in another country. The Project will include; 1.Theoretical part focused on finding and presenting information about how do kites fly. 2.Students research different types of kites (aerobatic ones, ones used to flying high etc.) and the history of kites. 3.Students make plan on how to make assemble a kite, with a description of used elements and then they make a presentation out of it. 4.Students from each school make a detailed plan of kite and reflect their city’s and country’s cultural items on their kites. 5.Students read poems and sing songs about kites. They talk about the feeling they have when they fly kites. They Exchange their poems and songs and perform a KITES SHOW at their schools.
