TREE REMEMBER ME

From 1940 to 1945, during the Second World War, all Europe suffered terrible events and many innocents lost their lives. This can’t happen again: only if students study the past, the future will be better and injustices and discriminations never happen again. In every country of Europe, we can find terrible tales about this period. Project is starting in occasion of International Holocaust Remembrance (27th January 2023) and continuing until June. The project was created to arouse curiosity in our students and to help them fight indifference so that they never stop dedicating their efforts to studying the theme of the Holocaust. It is said that one of the conditions for learning from the past is knowing it: when we talk about the Shoah this concept is of fundamental importance. Making young people aware of the tragedy that took place in the extermination camps means exhorting them to reflect on the continuous danger of a possible return of war, horror and injustice in Europe. This project is useful for lighting the torch of remembrance in the new generations for the hope of a world of peace.
