I am a primary school teacher from Crete - Greece. Along with teachers from my school, we had already created and participated in Comenius, e Twinning and Erasmus+ projects. I am interested both, in participating and creating projects which inspire student's imagination, uplift their self esteem, whilst offer them the chance to be more responsible citizens of our planet. I strongly believe that we, teachers, can make our students flourish as personalities by developing their pottential through methodologies that will help them to protect the enviroment and develop attitudes to sustainability. I am a sir Ken Robinson enthousiastic fan believing that today schools are obligated for no longer kill creativity. By joining a more reflective and introspective way of being with the insights of modern psychology and neuroscience, we can refine how we teach our children : Cultivation of the following three areas -Attention, Balance and Compassion ( The new ABCs - The mindful Child - Susan Kaiser Greenland) will allow us to help children define what they want to do and achieve the goals they set for themselves. That way they will be ready to change the world for the better.
