Get ready for the upcoming online conference for eTwinning Schools, ‘Students in eTwinning Schools are agents of change’. Taking place from 29 to 31 May, the event’s first day will be streamed and open to all.

Teacher educators can explore the potential of online communities to foster innovative teaching practices and international collaboration. eTwinning, an online community designed to connect teachers and students across Europe, has been increasingly recognised as a valuable tool in initial teacher education.

Congratulations to the winners of the eTwinning European prizes 2024.

The spring campaign focused on promoting well-being in the classroom. With engaging webinars and a curated gallery of tips, teachers explored strategies to create a supportive learning environment for themselves and their students.

In 2024, the city of Mechelen is organising a festival to celebrate the Belgian presidency of the Council of the European Union. eTwinning Flanders has joined forces with the Mechelen city council through the eTwinning project ‘Construct Europe 2024’ to create a connection between education and the festival.

This online workshop for school leaders and head teachers, with 227 participants, took place on 22 and 23 March 2024. The event provided a space for leaders of eTwinning schools to discuss and explore different aspects of well-being, encompassing both personal and institutional perspectives.

The Italian eTwinning National Support Organisation has recently released a new volume that focuses on the initial training of teachers and the advantages of integrating eTwinning. The publication is available online in PDF format.

The online workshop for staff working in initial vocational education and training (IVET) took place from 1 to 3 March 2024. It focused on understanding the pivotal role of well-being in education, to lay the groundwork for tackling significant issues highlighted by the PISA 2022 results.

The onsite course for ambassadors will take place in Athens, Greece, on 18-20 April.
