3.Description

5.Teachers can use all or part of the explanation text according to their class level

(Teachers or students will make presentations on recycling and the benefits of recycling appropriate to their grade level.
Teachers who wish can use the informative article below about recycling and its benefits.)

What is Recycling?

Recycling refers to the process of transforming waste materials consumed by humans into secondary raw materials through various physical or chemical processes and reintegrating them into the production process. Another definition of recycling is that it involves reclaiming unused recyclable waste materials and reintroducing them into manufacturing processes using various recycling methods.

Recyclable materials include glass, paper, aluminum, plastic, batteries, motor oil, accumulators, concrete, organic waste, and electronic waste.

What Are the Benefits of Recycling?

When we incorporate the materials we consume back into the recycling loop, we first ensure that these materials are reused as raw materials. This helps maintain the natural balance, which is being disrupted due to the increasing human population and consumption. Furthermore, using recyclable materials as raw materials allows for significant energy savings. For example, using recycled aluminum can save up to 35% of energy compared to manufacturing it from scratch.

Using waste objects as raw materials can also help prevent the increasing environmental pollution. When we reuse scrap paper in paper production, it reduces air pollution by 74-94%, water pollution by 35%, and water usage by 45%. Due to our responsibility towards the environment, the economy, and ourselves, it is essential for all of us to be part of recycling projects today.

Benefits of Recycling can be summarized under the following headings:

A- Preservation of Our Natural Resources:

Using recyclable waste materials like used packaging as a raw material source results in significant savings in the raw materials that would otherwise be consumed for the material it replaces. Our natural resources are depleting every day due to the increasing world population and consumption. Therefore, our natural resources need to be used more efficiently.

B- Energy Savings:

Recycling involves fewer physical and chemical processes than normal production, leading to significant energy savings in material production. The amount of energy saved through recycling varies depending on the type and composition of waste. For example, recycling an aluminum can saves up to 90% of energy, and recycling paper saves up to 60%, as stated by many experts.

C- Reduced Waste:

Recycling leads to less waste going to landfills, making waste transportation and storage easier due to the reduced space and energy required.

D- Contribution to the Economy:

Recycling prevents the depletion of raw materials and natural resources, thus contributing to the country’s economy.

What Can You Do?

• Support recycling. Choose products with recycling symbols on their packaging.

• Buy glass containers, knowing that glass has been recycled for thousands of years, and the product inside does not interact with the glass.

• Reuse plastic products like plastic bags and food containers.

• Minimize the use of single-use or rarely used items such as plastic razors, lighters, ballpoint pens, and aluminum foil containers.

• Avoid using plastic bags for small purchases.

• Use larger products. Products with greater volume mean more use and less packaging consumption.

• Reuse glass storage products like bottles and jars.

• When discarding glass materials, separate colored from colorless ones and remove metal caps.

• Avoid purchasing products that use excessive packaging.

• When buying toys for children, choose durable ones. Toys are difficult to recycle once they break.

• Give your loved ones a membership to an environmental organization as a gift.

         Game Time

Of course, children and games are inseparable. Child means play. One of the biggest roles in a child's development is play.
Although playing games is often perceived as entertainment, it has a very important place in child development.
Children play a role in developing problem-solving skills and discovering their own talents. Play is one of the factors affecting the child's mental, emotional, physical and social development.
Taking all these into consideration, we enabled our students to play in the playgrounds we drew in our school garden in order to increase their mobility and cultural development.
They learned the positive attitudes and behaviors necessary for themselves, body mobility, communication, and the knowledge and skills for a healthy life during the game.
With the introduction of technology into our lives, many digital games have emerged.
Let's ensure that our students prepare for positive attitudes and behaviors when they use this area, and prepare and play games that can improve their knowledge and skills.

A collaborative common game bank will be created for the project lesson plan.

 1. Select a point and edit it.
2. You can publish the link of the game you created.

3. Write your name

 Dear project partners,
Have your students play at least 4 of the cooperative game bank games. Please save the videos and images you took while playing the game to slide.
Thanks sincerely
