About the project

This is a project that carries out the third year of the Erasmus+ project KA229 entitled
“Art & Literature in Education’s Nature! Is it an A.L.I.E.N?” The project involves students of five partner schools from Italy, Lithuania, Greece, Croatia, Turkey. The main themes are Art and Literature and it focuses on the impact that the approach to Art and Literature can have on the development of students' skills, creativity and teaching innovation. As every country's national heritage contains art and literature, getting acquainted with  both, students also learn about every country's historical context which leads to the  knowledge not only of wider cultural context of each country but also intercultural interface.
It also gives students the opportunity to stay in touch and work collaboratively in
order to share emotions and feelings with peers during this hard period of pandemics.
Throughout the school year, students from the different schools will work together waiting for the meetings on-site while the partner teachers will share ideas and plan outcomes. The  TwinSpace will be the common classroom. Here the project steps will be uploaded, and this  platform will also be used to disseminate the project results.

The objectives are:
- Enhance the use of the English language (L2);
- To stimulate students' interest and develop their awareness of the riches of their heritage;
- Educate students to respect their cultural heritage;
- Develop active citizenship behaviours;
- To develop entrepreneurial skills;
- Learn to appreciate the richness in diversity;
- Develop creativity;

- Develop digital skills.

Evaluation of Expected Outcomes:

1.    Accomplishment questionnaire/self-assessment/proposals for improvement for pupils at the end of the project.
2.    Dissemination: Creation of the etwinning corner for publicity and dissemination purposes, prepared for the Open days;
3.    Elaboration of a summary video of the activities carried out to be published on the school website in the "etwinning projects" section, with a certificate of quality, if any;
4.    Presentation of the results to the Class Council (including the parents) and to the Teachers' Board;
5.    Presentation of results in public events.

In addition to the Twinspace tools, other free tools available on the Web will be used.
In preparation, the parents of the participants will be presented with a document requesting a release for the use of images of the students as minors; in the same document, parents will be informed of the rules of good conduct in the use of digital media, known as "netiquette".
