If you have a project suitable for IVET students, preferably linked to their future work field, you can give a brief description on the Padlet on the "Projects & Partners" page. In addition, you can upload your examples of good practice of your project on the dissemination page for every member to see!

Mobile phones offer opportunities for creativity, communication and learning. However, their presence in schools raises concerns about distraction, negative social interactions and pupil wellbeing. 

Take part in our survey by 22 April 2025 – Share your views on the impact of mobile phone use in schools, the perceived benefits and challenges of mobile phone bans and alternative measures for managing screen time.

Description

How to get more young people to choose vocational education and training (VET) pathways has long been an emphasis in educational policy in Europe. Iceland is no exception as most student entering upper secondary schools choose academic pathways over vocational pathways despite concentrated efforts to increase VET participation. In the webinar we will discuss the standing of vocational education and what the rationale of young people selecting their upper secondary school pathway indicates about the perception of VET using research results from Iceland.
