About the speakers

Jose Luis Martinez Garcia

With over 20 years of experience in education, Jose has built a dynamic career focused on creating inclusive and supportive learning environments. He began as a Guidance Counsellor at a secondary school in Albacete, Spain, where he spent 13 years providing comprehensive support to students, families, and educators. Jose coordinated the Guidance and Counselling Department and led projects like the "Help Pupils" program, training students in peer mediation and conflict resolution. He has also been involved in teacher training, organising workshops on topics such as autism, gifted education, and learning disabilities. Currently, Jose serves as an Inspector of Education, overseeing school evaluations, teacher performance, educational inclusion initiatives, and vocational training programs. His expertise earned him an appointment as an expert member of the Observatory of School Coexistence in Castilla-La Mancha in 2024. Jose remains dedicated to promoting equitable and high-quality education for all students, driven by his experience and passion for educational improvement.
