TICO TRAINING. Teaching Is…Innovation, Communication And Outdoor Education
TICO Training is an innovative structure of intensive training based on 3 pillars:
Innovation, Communication and Outdoor Education.
The training will explore different tools for digital education and tools for innovative teaching through technologies and outdoor education. This training is the perfect combination between indoor and outdoors.
Description
Innovation holds a pivotal role across all sectors today, particularly in education. Teaching represents an ongoing progression that spans generations.
In the past, schools existed as a separate realm, detached from everyday reality. Parents entrusted that their children were sheltered and secure within the school system, and the query of “What will my child do in the future?” lingered unanswered until the culmination of secondary school. “We will see, we’ll see.”
Today, however, the landscape has shifted. Reality and the educational sphere must be closely interlinked, demanding that innovation defines teachers’ methods and conduct.
TICO Training embodies an innovative framework for intensive training built upon three pillars: Innovation, Communication, and Outdoor Education
Innovation, a multifaceted concept, is, after years of experimentation, intricately tied to technological utilization. A dedicated day within the training focuses on exploring various digital tools for education and innovative teaching methodologies leveraging technology.
Communication stands out as a cornerstone in teaching, meriting an entire day of exploration into diverse communication styles and techniques.
Outdoor Education embodies a burgeoning trend that encapsulates enjoyment.
Nestled in the picturesque Soverato, a coastal city teeming with breathtaking natural surroundings, our program facilitates exploration, shared experiences, consolidation, and integration of learning. It promotes relaxation and stress reduction.
Our training orchestrates a harmonious blend of indoor and outdoor experiences. Participants are in constant motion, gaining opportunities to practice within an environment akin to the classroom – in the training room, supported by the internet and technologies, and outdoors, amidst nature, stepping beyond their comfort zones.

Methodology & assessment
Furthermore, in line with the JUMP Academy method, our courses are based on a strategic balance between formal and non-formal education, indoor and outdoor education and the team takes care of a very important aspect of international mobility which is the intercultural learning which we develop with short excursions and facilitating the interaction with local partners, businesses and citizens of our territory. Each local context has its own economy so it’s always useful, in training programs, to get in contact with concrete examples (experiential learning and real based learning).
We always try to connect our learners to local teachers and students to cooperate in developing innovation and networking for future projects.
