Description
In this course we will address issues such as boosting cultural knowledge, empathy and critical thinking. The first step is being aware of the institutionalized discrimination, the use of speeches, media and the influence that our culture and ethnocentrism have on us. Once there, we will be able to make more inclusive choices and work with strategies to build cultural inclusiveness education.
We’ll share dynamics, examples, activities and methodologies to integrate, attend and take advantage of the diversity in the classroom in different subjects and within shared leisure spaces.
Participants in this course will understand human beings and cultural behavior, we will develop their skills and competences on how to integrate intercultural notions,
motivate teamwork, build bridges with the community and manage complex long-term projects to foster social cohesion, peaceful coexistence and diversity.
Learning objectives
The skills learnt by the participants during the course can be used to:
- Verifying and develop their pedagogical and communication skills.
- Contributing to the creation of a new open-minded and all-inclusive school.
- Increased motivation for professional development.
- Encouraging the working groups to systematize actions in their centres and to move forward.
Methodology & assessment
We will mainly work through group exchange and small group interactions, encouraging reflection and creativity in order to increase the understanding of options and alternatives to take action. We will also work through role plays, group dynamics, media, language, expressions, and case analysis. Throughout the classroom sessions, maximum advantage is taken of tools such as the interactive screen for projecting videos and digital material, and
Materials, digital tools & other learning resources
This course enhances pedagogical and communication skills, fostering open-minded, inclusive schools. It boosts motivation for professional development and encourages systematized, collaborative actions in educational centers. Materials include guides, activity templates, and digital tools for teamwork and skill-building.
Certification details
The participants will receive a certificate of attendance at the end of the course including their full name, project information, duration of the course (25 hours) and location of the course, according to the Erasmus+ standards.

Course package content:
The course fee includes 5 day of training, training materials and certificates, learning agreements and europass, pre-arrival and on-site assistance, and coffee corner. It is possible to request a budget for extra services like Accommodation, Airport transfers and cultural activities and trips.

Cancellation & changes:
If the participant cancels the course more than 30 days before the course commences, all fees will be refunded.
If the participant cancels the course between 30 and 7 days before the course starts, they will be refunded in a form of a voucher to be used for the future courses delivered within 12 months.
The course is non-refundable If the participant cancels 7 days before the course start date but it is possible to postpone the dates.
