S.I.D. activity
As part of our celebration of Safer Internet Day, our February collaborative activity focuses on promoting awareness about online safety through creativity and teamwork.
All partners are invited to contribute to a shared collaborative document by writing 2–3 multiple-choice questions related to Internet Safety. Each question should include one correct answer and three wrong options, so that we can create a common Kahoot quiz.
The collected questions will be combined into a joint Kahoot game, which our students will play in order to reinforce their knowledge about staying safe online in a fun and interactive way.

🌐💡 Safer Internet Day in My Classroom, 5 D! 💡🌐
This week, my students in 5 D took part in Safer Internet Day activities, exploring how to stay safe, respectful, and responsible online. We discussed the importance of kind communication, digital etiquette, and protecting personal information.
The children reflected on the “Manifesto of Non-Hostile Communication”, shared their thoughts, and expressed their ideas through drawings and a class poster. It was wonderful to see them so engaged, thinking critically about their digital lives, and collaborating to create a positive online environment.
These moments remind us that teaching digital citizenship is not just about rules, but about fostering awareness, empathy, and responsibility in the online world. 🌟
🌐📱 Safer Internet Day at school! 💙✨
For Safer Internet Day, my students took part in an exciting Kahoot activity! They first worked together in a collaborative game as a class, sharing ideas and helping each other to find the right answers 🤝💡
Then, the challenge became even more engaging as they competed against other classes in a friendly competition! 🎯🔥
It was a great way to learn about online safety while having fun, promoting teamwork, responsibility, and digital awareness.
Well done everyone! 👏💻

During the month of February, my students participated in several activities related to internet safety. They watched a video on the dangers of the internet and the appropriate behaviors to adopt to respect others. Then they read and commented on the "Manifesto of Non-Hostile Communication”, which helped them understand how hurtful words can be if used incorrectly. Next they watched another video, on the "Programma il Futuro" platform, about the digital traces we leave every time we go online. They then brainstormed which personal data can be shared and which is best not to share for our own safety.
Finally, my students have invented a "potion for safe surfing on the Internet", which has as its ingredients prudence, confidentiality, intervention and courage. The students showed great interest, as they often interact and play online, and they felt truly engaged in this activity, which allowed them to discover potentially dangerous situations.

The game was organized by Nikoleta and focused on key topics such as netiquette, online safety, and cyberbullying. Students worked together with enthusiasm, discussed their answers, and learned while having fun.
A great experience that combined healthy competition with digital awareness, reinforcing the importance of respectful and responsible behavior online 💻✨
