This webinar explored student readiness for a rapidly changing world and how education systems can contribute to it. It delved into the findings from PISA 2022, where the performance of EU education systems is compared among 81 countries/economies, focusing on crucial outcomes such as students' proficiency in mathematics, reading, and science, alongside equity and well-being. Participants discovered the changes in these metrics between 2018 and 2022 and unraveled the secrets of resilient education systems that maintained high levels of performance, equity, and well-being amidst the pandemic. They also learned about the common characteristics in resource allocation strategies, school environment, and school governance shared by resilient education systems. The webinar concluded with forward-thinking discussions on potential pathways to enhance education systems for the future.
