In general terms, any kind of bullying is always an intentional aggressive behavior. In most cases, it leads to a lot of short-term and long-term psychological as well as physical suffering. Quite often, bullying may also cause academic problems and even school dropout. Therefore we aim at making students and all the other school communities’ members be aware of the seriousness of this growing problem in all schools. That’s why we intend to promote and to implement measures that aim at tackling bullying in our schools in a strategic and holistic way. Another goal we intend to attain is to highly diminish the level of bullying at our schools along with discrimination and violence associated with it. We also aim at reinforcing our students’ sense of tolerance, equality, empathy and mutual respect towards peers and other cultures. Apart from these objectives, we intend to enhance communication, interpersonal skills and cooperative learning as well.
